After a little rain last night, today looks great. The only time it rained was while I was in Shop & Stop. The traffic seems to be worse than last year, but we still manage to get around.

I contribute to an RV Blog writing articles on photography. Spent part of the afternoon putting together a post on "Do I Need a New Camera?" I also started on the next one, an article on making panoramas. Here is one of the examples:

Not much else happening today. Tomorrow Don & Anne Guido are arriving. They missed last year because Anne was sick, and almost missed this time - Don is doing well recovering from the big "C", had two successful hip replacements, and ended up with MSRA! He had to undergo IV antibiotics, but as of last tuesday he is declared cured.

I was planning on trying for a "Star Circle" photograph (made by pointing the camera at the North star & leaving the shutter open for an hour or so) but the clouds prevented it. Will probably keep trying since the amount of sky here on the island is far wider than what we have in Oswego.
