Monday, February 7, 2022, Dome Rock BLM, Quartzsite, AZ, Day 5 - 0 Miles, 3,771.5 Miles for the Trip

48°F this morning during my walk before breakfast. Lots of folks out & about. After breakfast I read some forums, and eventually headed to Blythe for my eye drops. Of course I had to also stop at Albertson and buy too much stuff. At least the frozen stuff fit in the freezer, although there now is not room for anything else.

Around 2:00 I went for a walk with the camera. Lots of Clams set up all over Dome Rock. They are a handy way to get out of the sun during the day, and, if you have a propane fire ring, a nice place to keep warm during the cool evening. I didn't count the number of trailers, but all the time I was wandering around, they were arriving.

Dinner was a grilled chicken leg quarter, a salad & southwestern corn.

After dinner I made another round of the camping area. I counted 80 trailers, although I could have easily counted one or two twice or missed a couple. We got buzzed by a back pack para sail.

Until Tomorrow -
