Thursday, December 2, 2021 -Gilbert Ray Campground, Tucson, AZ, Day 2 - 0 Miles, 3,459.4 Miles for the Trip

A warm night. While I plugged in the electric heater, it only came on once early morning. 84°F this afternoon.

I decided it would be a good day for a haircut. I did a Google search and found Mikeys Barber Shop. While Google found it, I didn't. Went to the address & there was a closed store front. I tried a couple of GPS searches, and Matilda kept wanting me to go to Phoenix. After trying the search a couple of different ways, I found "The Friendly Family Barber Shop". I got there and that wasn't the name, but they did cut hair. On the way back I filled the truck tank at $3.59, then drove by a station that was selling gas at $3.39. Not so much a difference until you realize that you are putting 22 gallons in the tank.

Back at the trailer I set up the hummingbird feeder. The hummers were glad to see it - two of them started feeding while it was in my hands, before I hung it on the hook. Of course once I got the camera out they all went away and only came back sporadically. Still, I got a few:

Hummingbirds

That was about it for the day, although I did take a shower in the trailer.

Dinner was an Impossible Cheeseburger & a salad.

Until Tomorrow -
