On a stay at Dome Rock BLM campground in Quartzsite for the 2018, 11th Annual Fiberglass Trailer Rally, I made the 63 mile drive to the Castle Dome City Ghost Town & Museum. About 8 miles of the drive is on good gravel road, the rest AZ 95 and 2 miles of paved side road. Much of the town is restored, but not what you would call a tourist attraction (no gunfights in the streets or stores selling stuff), and not abandoned. The most similar condition ghost town I've visited is Bodie State Park in California. I took far too many photos, and posted them here. The first image is of the Border Patrol Blimp getting ready to launch just outside the museum.
