After a piece of apple pie & cheese for breakfast (The advantage of being an adult & single - what I eat is up to me!) I headed into Lake Havasu to get a haircut. The first place I tried was closed, so I ended up at Great Clips at the Ross Shopping Center. While I'm generally not a fan of chain hair cutting places, this one was OK. Definitely better than the last two haircuts I had on the trip. After that it was a quick trip to Walmart & back to the trailer.

I walked around the campground to take a few photos. There is a small section for tents, many back in & pull through sites, all with water & electric, no sewers. The Sandpoint Campground is on a hill overlooking Cattail Cove & the lake.

One of the display boards had information on the Desert Bar, so I added a couple of photos of it here and at the Desert Bar page I did while at Buckskin Mountain. They also had lots of signs on the trees & cactus all over the campground. There was a Mesquite next to a Desert Ironwood with the branches intermingled. While the trunks are quite different, I had problems telling the difference between the leaves - with the examples next to each other, it is a little easier.

Dinner was a grilled pork chop (actually two, they were thin) and yellow squash with the last of the apple pie for dessert. I wouldn't call it my best apple pie - the McIntosh apples were not as fresh as those from my tree, but it was editable.

Until tomorrow -
