A note on Photographs - All of us are taking pictures - I'll do my best to give photo credits with an initial, but if I miss one be sure to let me know! J = Jon, D = Don, A = Anne & C = Carol. You can usually tell Anne's - her camera puts the date on the image! Also, most of the images are scans of old & faded prints, so the quality may not be all that hot.

July 25 - Yellowstone & Coty, WY (197mi)

To catch up - yesterday we stopped at a number of Yellowstone's features, including the Paint Pots, Old Faithful, Sulphide Spring, etc. Today we headed for the upper loop to see more.

Overall, I feel Yellowstone is an interesting park, with features I haven't seen anywhere else, but it will not be one of my favorites. A little too busy, manicured - it almost seems like a park made for people rather than the other way around. Anyhow, we headed out the park on US 20/14/16 (I don't know why it needs so many names) and stopped for the night in Coty, WY at the Coty KOA. We are now heading East - homeward. So far we have driven 9806 miles, I guess it's time to head back.
